This massage uses warming basalt stones. Basalt is a hard and ferruginous volcanic rock, with the property that it retains heat for a long time.
The stones are heated to around 45 degrees Celsius. The basalt stones have different sizes, the small stones are used for example between the toes and the larger stones for the abdomen and lower back.
By placing the warm stones on the body, this provides a relaxing effect.
